Here at First Five we provide Emergency Medical Technician classes on the northwest side of Chicago. Our Classes meet the National Registry Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Standards and is approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic, our class structure has changed a bit. We are one of the only facilities that has been approved by IDPH to teach class in a blended format. As you can see from our schedule, we meet virtually for the classroom portion and then only need to meet 4, eight(8) hour sessions for the hands-on portion. Individuals that complete this course and all mandatory requirements will have the opportunity to challenge the NREMT Exam for EMT-B licensing.
